Found the below pic in my hdd. how this picture came about. One day this Ciba Japan staff ask me to help him take a group photo.. and before he left Ciba office to go back to his home country, he took an impromptu pic of me! and i was stunned at why he suddenly stood there to take pic of me and walk off.... weeks later then i realised that he was clever! before he left, he actually entrusted me to return his access pass to the admin. He actually dropped an email to the admin that it was this girl whom he passed the card to.... and he attached my photo ! OMG.. no way im going to escape if i forgot to help him return his pass...

This project has been a very enjoyable one. Ever since i joined the team, i am practically having team dinner or gathering sessions almost every single week. Working hours can be rather long... but when we have time for fun.. we are really out playing hard!

through this project i get to meet up with accenture colleagues "round the world"! I love the experience...

get to know this group of spanish mafias - Laia, Maria, Antonio, Aytami & Richart. what can i say about them? they are realli fun people!
Laia is a great entertainer who never fails to set us crackling into laughter... why is she in accenture? she should change her job!
Maria is a bit more dainty lady like...

New donut brand spotted at raffles city shopping centre basement! J.CO Donuts &Coffee. Rival to that of the nearby Donut Factory. Business is affected for sure. A dozen donuts to cure my cough , sore throat...... no voice... all due to .... someone at work?!!?!?!!?!?!?!? Too much of talkin and questioning.. many 10 questions "why..?", dries the throat and increases one's tendency to lose voice!

yes my blog has been dead again for quite some time~... finally back again.. for past weeks have been busy with clearing some honeywell stuffs, apart from my job search..

Lately I met a second most challenging interview i ever went!...

first encountered was a couple of years back after graduating from poly, i went to interview at this company and was thrown a laptop to sit there for 2 hours to program. Was caught by surprise, was given a case scenario and i need to program the solution out. At the end of it , what he was looking for was my analyzing, logic & reasoning skills and yup i got thru it! thou in the end i din take up that offer.

And recently this one i went.. was for a marketing position.. At end of first interview, he actually gave me an assignment and ask me to do back at home and return next day to show and propose to him. OMG! definitely i stood there confidently and smile and say "sure , no problem". But in my heart i was... gosh.. i still need to go Marina square after this to meet up with an engineer to settle honeywell stuffs . The assignment resolves around the revamp of an exisiting website they have, and the scope given as follows:

Assume you are the Marketing Manager tasked to revamp the portal totally (both in functionalities and look), describe in details what you will have in the revamped site. This should cover editorial directions / the functionalities / sections, etc.
Based on this, produce a mock up of the portal’s new Home Page, and 2 inner pages (the mock up must include the functionalities you have listed above). You may use Photoshop or any applications familiar to you in producing this mockup.
Produce a calendar of marketing activities (each month Jan – Dec 08) to drive brand awareness and new user traffic.
Produce a calendar of Cover Stories (each month Jan – Dec 08). Each Cover Story should have a Story Title, and describe in 2-3 lines what the story is about.
Do up a media kit for Beverly (4 max excluding cover page).

Terrible nite i went through, brain with no design ideas.. trying to squeeze out some headlines... some cannot make it, some sounds good and interesting... and i was rather exhausted for that nite and fell asleep. The next mrg, i woke up at 7! and rushes like mad . doing up the design... strategizing my marketing activities, cover stories for whole year.. and what the hell is a media kit.. never done it before... and by afternoon i submit everything via email and head down to office to meet up with the interviewer again.

this time round with 2 interviewers, i got to explain why i do things this way or that way and why i din do this or that. Showing of portfolio.. chit chat chit chat... ask me about management skills.. and i did critic some stuffs which coincidently goes in line with the interviewer's method of management. OH dear... of coz i try to salvage saying there is no right or wrong. gosh i think i did not fare as well in terms of managment questions. if i got chance to do it again im sure i can do better. And this was my 2nd interview.

the following week, he rang me up... and i visit his office again... and chit chat chit chat... as we talk more into pay and benefits terms... found out about his impressive background. A man in his early 30s i guess (not sure, he din reveal but cant be 40 yet, he mention roughly same as my bro), but earning a salary of 19k or more at Yahoo when he is 29! GOSH! Was headhunted by Shell when he was into his first year studies in London. followed by, been to companies like Virgin, Nokia... Certainly nice to meet someone like him... but a very figure oriented person.

I do like the scope of work for this job, given the ownership, and power to do almost everything anything that i wan to achieve my given targets...there seems to be no limit... i like doing things from scratch, and seeing my 'baby' grows and doing well.. the sense of satisfaction is fantastic and to be proud of. but it also goes to say i need to do ALOT ALOT OF WORK and i cant ignore the fact that element of risk of failure could also exists! brought the contract back home to consider over it.

gosh the take home assignment took me more than 8 hrs to complete. and the 3 visits to his office took me at least in total of 5hrs. Total time spent for this job, took me more than 13 hrs! But in the end i din take up the offer.

Still on job searching... friends, bless me... pray hard for me .... for better things to come. Anyone wanna employ me? i can send application to u ... hahhaha =D

yummyilicious.. durian flavoured mooncakes from Goodwood Park! bro bought 2 boxes of it to be eaten within the kids and relatives on saturday. i snatched a bite from the piece off my sister's hand. waaaa the bite and chew and taste in the mouth is simply bagus! thumbs up~ but then it got me really heated up... been heaty these few days, trying to preserve my voice , having sore throat.

Even shopping malls have to undergo facelift every couple of years. in fact there have been alot of changes in Singapore over this few yrs... new Singapore flyer, IR, new clubs, new malls vivoCity & ICON, ION coming up... and more and more...

vast changes have taken place, comparing singapore 10 yrs ago and now.. when im 24 this yr.. wondering how will sg be like 10 yrs down the road... when im 34? .... how many new buildings be constructed within the limited land space here? will i have kids by then.. and maybe life perspective will change after being a mum... or even after steppin out into the working society.. people and thinking morph and changes.

im different 10 yrs ago as compared to now. learning from day to day experiences... gainin more and more exposure from the real world... all these factors makes one's thinkin change as individuals open up their minds.. in biz world its not simple, innocent people loses out, gets taken advantage of... people are discerning, evil, play mind games, being double headed snakes,it doesnt help to be kind...boss told me "When u see person A, tell story A. When u see person B tell story B" meaning there is no need to be truthful, must know how to play tactics with different clients.

did u chanced upon the Aug Maxim issue? featuring model rebecca tan who appears in the famous HL adverts. Wooo i think she is one hot lady! the shots by photographer Wee khim are really yummy good.. guys out there do u wish to be wee khim's assistant so that u can google at the pretty models each time he photographed them? especially in this kind of steamy shots. i think these pics were taken with class unlike models appearing in the usual sexy lingerie. i wish im at the scene! guys, does the pics turn u on? ;) *wink

this is Royston Tan, the name behind 881. It was a more than a million dollar production spending 22 days for filming. It's an all female casting. Qi Yi Wu utter not a single word playing as a mute man, except communicating via naration of the movie. So we can judge his performance by just his expressions but it looks like the same throughout the whole show.. the very quiet usual expression of him.

The begining part of movie gave me the impression of a very low cost production, which tries to play up on comical meter using cardboard people to depict the various other related family members of the main cast. It was a rather nice effect to me. As i progress ... watching the show is as if 90% of communication exist all in lyrics of the hokkien songs. It was rather intolerable hearing them sing and sing.. when they sing again.. my heart just goes... "not again..."

but i can be rather impressed with them on how they can manage to find so many songs to depict the feelings of the people. Was it especially written and sang, or was it real exisiting old hokkien songs? Let's give a round of applause for Royston for his brilliant idea to come up with a hokkien musical film...

we shall wait and see what's next in line for the singapore production movie. One thing about singapore movie production regardless of filmmaker, its always with tinge of local feel, local affairs or issues. Perhaps that can be the unique selling point to serve as an insight on singapore flavour to other countries. "Productions that are uniquely Singapore"

last sunday finally took the time to tidy up my wardrobe.. i actually occupied 1+1+0.5 sets of cabinets in the house. when u open, u see a mess inside...

and now its neat and tidy.. i squeeze to 1+0.5+0.5 (wardrobe A+B+C) occupied. packing off some clothes into bagful to discard away.. 0.5 of the wardrobe B is actually left intact , din have enuff time to finish clearing it all.. but

1 whole of the wardrobe A is in super good condition now. decided to just hang working clothes, leaving casual ones folded at the bottom. Previously i used to hang all sorts of the clothes and its all so cramped up. Wardrobe C hangs all the jeans material items. this coming weekend my aim is to downsize to just 1.5 wardrobe.

does it sounds complicated? with the wardrobe A, B and C and the ones and zero point five values? it's meant to make u confused. Please be confused by me...

look at my bro's cupboard. his is neat..everything in place. he has always been the more tidy person in the house.. which brings to the issue that i always get reprimanded by him for untidiness. Stop scolding me! i've tidied up the wardrobe and free up more space !

helped out an engineer for some software application changes. Gotta worked on Pfizer site which is far away in Tuas South. Terrible experience for the long travel journey. First day there, was late in meeting my colleague who will drive me from toa payoh to tuas. No choice gotta take a cab directly from home to Tuas as im in a rush to attend a safety course by 7.45am. CAB FARE $26++ ... waaa so expensive!

Pfizer site was rather strict. Anyone who wanna enter the site for work is required to attend a 2h safety course first. No choice attended it and it was boring session.... i couldnt keep my eyes open and kena caught by the instructor who said to the whole class "this girl in front looks very tired... do u want to go wash your face first"...oppss so paiseh...

gotten my safety induction certification which gives me the rights to enter the site for a validity period of a yr. Omg.. i never wan to come to tuas again after this project. Lucky was just for 2 days.

Impression of pfizer, was a very systematic organization which has a clean environment, who really have clear visions, goals driven, follow by the book. Shows extreme care through the various safety precautions rules set up to protect its employees. Thumbs up for welfare meter. but downside of being there... no handphones allowed on site premises! Each and every got to locked their mobile in small lockers at the security guardhouse. How inconvenient this is.. not sure about the rationale behind. was it a safety measure, so that pple wont get distracted at work by mobile? to make sure employee work and concentrate fully during working hrs? will hp ignite any possibility of fire? mobile frequency will interrupt anything in the plant? anyway managed to pull thru 2 days without mobile phone by my side. It was really constructive. Sit there jus work and work and knock off.

was told that the staffs there worked only 3-4 days per week on shift hours. Pfizer operates 24 by 7. Even a technician position has an income of at least 2k... but downside of working in Tuas... perhaps the polluted air and long distance travel........

The months stuck doing Final year project was torturous and no one likes it!

we started off ever since last dec sourcing for projects till we met and settle on Parkway Healthcare group... meeting up with client (they were real nice pple), gathering user requirements, to research and proposal... development to testing and deployment phase... and finalli the handover closure period in Aug this month.. it was a journey that we all survived! woo... it was a sign of relief when its over.. Good luck to other teams that are doing their FYP this sem.

flash back to fyp days as we nest our egg(FYP product) in the bird nest we named our own.

snacks all over the place in the office. we cant stop our mouth from munching whenever we are enclosed in the 'bird nest' aka the FYP room at client's office.. and here's a handful of lychee soft gummies bought by dione...

let me turn back time, and see what events took placed for past weeks~

o first of all, Mr Bollywood returns from India to SG woodlands~ This was an interesting comical piece of paper that adrian wrote and gave to qilin as a gift when we welcome him back.

Poor Mr bollywood, supposedly to be welcomed at the airport at 730am by 2 hunks and 1 beauty! but instead he gotta wait for us to arrive.. the despaired looking him can only sit and wait slowly for us, one by one to make appearance.. Adrian being the latest only arrived nearly 830?! but we all wu sim to wake up damn early for this dude. Adrian living far away in bukit timah woke at 5+am took bus and train all way to changi jus to see this BOLLYWOOD... who are u wad a big deal... hhaa

Thanks to him for a nice flowery skirt gift which i cant put it off well...=D tks qilin!

As for weiye, i think he needs a haircut again! his current haircut make him too innocent!!! ooops *bleh

I started having a blue top... follow by blue toe nails. went for pedicure yesterday at Good Earth Nail Spa at Plaza Singapura L2. Bought a pedicure package ages ago.. but haven been going back there... finalli yesterday i went there to utilize my package and i still have 3 more sessions of pedi to go. did a spa treatment on my legs as well tat cost me $30 bucks.. which is meant for anti ageing, removing fine lines and moisturizing effects. the scrubing of my legs with beads scrub + lotion for moisturizing + covering my foot with plastic bag and putting both feet into a set of warm vacum bag.. letting it rest there for 10 mins ... and tat cost 30 bucks.. much easier to earn den a pedicure session to remove dead skin, shape and polish.

maybe the work experience with monsoon, knowing how commission system works .. knowing that once customer come back for course sessions, their revenue is actually zero. Therefore the inner me, was a bit paiseh.. which is why i did the $30 bucks spa treatment, letting the girl earn something extra. kind of contridicting.. as consumer i dun wan to spend much actually but at work im hoping customers to spend more.. when customers come back for their courses session, i hope they purchase products or something extra so they will need to pay something as well.. at least that session of service is afterall not considered zero revenue.. at least the shop benefit from bit of additional sales.

even Lina (lady boss of Nail spa) after being in the nails service line, experiencing customers tipping the staffs.. she told me that nowadayz she tends to give little bit of tips as well when she visits elsewhere to do service like foot reflexology etc as a form of appreciation. normally customers who give tips tends to be ang mos or pple who have travelled to english countries and back. Some can be rather generous. so far i only came across one person giving a miserable $1 as tip to shampoo boy. other den that mostly are all tips in dollar notes... even medicacorp artiste give tips.... sometimes they will come in to do their hair/nails... and give a tea break treat to the whole shop.

guess where is this??
Novena Square... one of the less frequent place that i would ever go to in the past... if not for work, i doubt i be going novena square that often. Besides Novena square the new extension Velocity a sports shopping mall as well as Square 2 another mall beside that house many eatery places and seems to target on korean stuffs...

a short walking distance away is the United Square.. cant go United States this summer but i visit U.Square. hahahha how lame is this..

there is this small pub at the basement of the shopping mall. Sporting a billard table outside in the open. i wonder what they do when it rains...cover the billard table? or shift it in to the shelter? This pub serves a wide variety of beer from different countries... nice place to chill out and relax. but the waitress there looks like from philipines or indonesia. but 2 person or 3 going there for some food and drinks can easily cost up to 100 bucks. per drink already cost 15-20 bucks.

went doubleO with collegues weeks ago... wow our drinks cost a bomb... think accumulated total nearly 1 k... each person have to pay ard 150+ . and was said that the cost is shared among the guys girls no need to pay.. hahaha... we had a lot of drinks... waterfall, buckets of beer, jugs of vokda mix of all types... there's one that taste like vokda with milk... dunno wad drink is that.. and 2 big round serving plates of small little cuppies of drinks.. those taste nice.. it cost 100 bucks per plate of servings. but one plate i think there shld be at least ard 30 cups..small little ones.. Hanging out with them is drinks and lotsa drinks drinks drinks... but i still prefer going zouk with qilin and WEIYE! when are we going again??!

turn back time... sorry tat i haven been bloggin.. so now im updating on things tat happened for past mth(s).. haha

Other than working this summer, im also busy with my FYP. been thru 2 phases of the project and the phase 3 presentation is coming soon on next monday. The company is located at Telok Ayer street and we've been exploring places to eat ard the area for the past mths.

one of the days we went to Market Street hawker centre... they are sellin these hum jin pang... 7 piece for 1 dollar! sounds cheap! and one highlight is... u gotta fry it yaself! the guy in yellow is meiyun's bf while the pinky girl is our dearest dione. they queued up and once it reached their turn, dione took out his hp camera to take pics of meiyun's bf frying ... hahahha poor man... he gotta fry $2 worth for us and he fried another $2 worth for himself and half of it for robin. its pretty humid and warm in there and having to fry it ... wwwwwwwwwwooooooo so HOT! u will wish for a fan blowing at u...

one of the lunches at raffles : lunch @soup spoon a celebration after FYP phase 1 project presentation to the client. During lunch hours 12-2pm, crowds are everywhere... resturants, hawkers, eateries,foodcourt all packed like sardine. first we went soup spoon near lau pat sat area.. there's a long queue.. and suddenly someone suggested sakae.. alright we left the queue halfway and walked to raffles place mrt area for sakae... waaaa queue again.. sianz.. we walked to TCC sat and queue.. queue queue queue .. hard to see anyone leaving their dining table. and guess wad... we went over soup spoon one of the outlets located at raffles place station and settled down.. we walked one big round and back to the same... Robin's fav... soup spoon.

most of u would have know its lau pat sat based on the ceilings roof design! all of us looking for food after one of the torturous FYP dayz... dinner time.. its rather competitive for the stall holders there.. these guys in the background are walking around touting for customers to patronize their stalls....

each day when we are at the Parkway's Office at Telok Ayer, we are sure to be snacking away in the office, buying more food/snacks back to office from lunch.

Nails Adventure - Beauty treats

enjoyed beauty free treats from monsoon nails spa. Angeline the artisitic Nails Director done up acrylic nails for me. each acrylic nail (fake nails) cost 6 bucks . each nail art cost 6 bucks. therefore each finger cost $12. In total my 10 fingers cost $120!!!!!! wooo expensive ar... but pple are willingly to spend such amount on their nails... i havent reach that stage yet... not so willing to spend so much unless for special occasions maybe. Another of my friend did the acrylic nails as well but hers keep dropping off and she has to repeatedly glued it back everyday. Whereas mine was stuck there so firmly that i couldnt remove it by peeling off but rather i need to soak my fingers and let the acrylic nails melt away. i had these on for almost a mth! and it never dropped before. Acrylic nails has it up and down sides... Looking pretty with longer nails but at expense of having weaker nails after removing it.

removed my acrylic nails, angeline did french manicure for me... retail price for manicure will be $25 and for french will be additional $5. My hands cost $30 bucks now. French nails are nice coz they look clean and tidy...

Nails package at Monsoon is worthy. Normally when u purchase nail packages elsewhere it will cost X amount for 5+1 manicure sessions or Y amount for 5+1 pedicure sessions.

But for monsoon ,its lowest package is $250. which you will get $50 dollar value in addition with $75 worth of treatment. Meaning to say that u pay $250 but u get $375 of services in return. The package does not restrict u to doing just soley manicure or pedicures like most other places. It gives consumers the flexibility in doing what they want. Monsoon Nail Spa offers a wide range of services other den just nails, it also provide whitening treatments for ya hands and legs, waxing etc.

it's a long long time since i last blog.... hasn't been blogging coz of the busy schedule with work and my FYP. now i shall upload pics that i've taken for the past weeks/month..

for mth of may, i have pasted posters all over the school. and promotions is over and yet i dun have the energy to tear it down.. hahaha. Just for readers info, i was working for Monsoon Hair & Nail Spa for peanuts for the past 2 mths. Left my Honeywell for peanuts.. The pay wasnt good considering the long working hours but the experience was an enjoyable with the fun people ard there.

met 3 cute adorable kids. There are the daughters of the boss of the Monsoon Nail Spa. Their parents dote on them very much. How fortunate they are. The registered name of monsoon Nail Spa was actually MSC Nail's blablabla... named after the boss's 3 daughters~ wowww how sweet it is... Megan + Shannon + Chloe.... Actually my aunt did the same too, his husband company was also named after his 3 sons He Jing, He Hui, He Guan known as "Jing Hui Guan blablabla".

these 3 kids are pretty, they wear hugo boss outfit.. woot.. their playmate is quan yifeng's daughter... father Eric is well to do and capable... he is capable coz he does his own trading at home and he have to raise the 3 kids, support the whole family including the parents etc and 3 maids!. Eric is a man who dotes so much on his wife. This business in nail spa was opened by Eric for his wife Lina. Went to their new house for some BBQ.... den i saw a piece of artistic furniture shaped like a dog placed in the living room. It cost 500 bucks for tat seat and they bought 3 especially made and crafted for the daughters. And recently i heard eric bought a pair of watch that cost ard 35k for the daughter?!! they are rich pple but they are also thrifty in some sense.

well glenn is nicknamed the 'pangsei king' by qilin.... why?? coz glenn never turn up for dinner and send his gf shilin as representative! and this is not the first time glenn has pangsei qilin i guessed.. tats why qilin gave him tis name (ahahahah sowing discord among the 2)

another interesting finding, the wierdest girl in SMU i ever met.. tats AISHA! realised that she normally dun check her grades until the next semester starts! reason given was.. her grades usually turns out better tat way... duhz.... *puzzled.. she's a weirdo

Met up with amanda who is doing her internship at Julius Bank... earning 1k doin accounts opening task, which leaves her very unsatisfied and wanted something more challenging... adrian the busy man.... doing his marketing internship, seems to be enjoyin his work! recently i have heard comments tat adrian looks good nowadaz and being photogenic!

qilin in the centre.. the network king.. met his friends over at walas... i can only remember one of the girl's name, Sheela i guessed... hahha.. she is super good at networking.. indeed a good marketing graduate from SMU. But she seemed to be a bit high and drank quite a bit..heard from aisha that Sheela wanted to throw away her engagement ring.. tried to dropped it into the beer mug.. but end up droppin to the ground... and it was a 1 carat ring! in the end they need to seek assistance from the staff to search with a torchlight.

we were like normads tonight shifting around tables. initially seated with qilin's friends, but he moved us to a table next to the side of the stage. From there i have the 'see-butt' experience again. den qilin called for us to move to a table next to his friend... but it was a grave mistake.. that table was actually taken up. this caused all of us to land up with no seats!

lastly jiahui will wanna say this to all: "thanks for coming..." afterall this event was organized by her for herself *wink

gosh nearly 4am.. and i need to be in office by 9 in the morning... nitez

17th April 07: try the watermelon ice-cream!.. realli got the taste of melon... bought from daimaru. but it cost like nearly $4 . tot of buying for my dozen kids back home, but 12*4 hmmm the money i think i can spend on 3 tubs of Bens & Jerry...

19th April 07: went zouk with this group of pple! and our dear qilin did the merlion! he pushed the blame to the powerful teh tarik he had during supper that caused him to make a fool of himself in public puking all over the floor... And i must say Galen aka Weiye is the Mr Sporting Guy! i msn him at 9.30pm askin him if he wanna join us, within 10 mins, he is out on his way to my place! woot! u are fabulous! super On!

the most funny comment made was by qilin "there are 2 dicks brushing my backside".. one of the section was realli cramped! qilin must be having a great time there and maybe thats why he wanted to go back tat area for a 2nd time tat nite...

20th April 07: one kind soul by name of alfred gave us 2 days course on .Net training... super nice guy he is... and as a gesture for saying thanks... we gave him a simple treat - sakae sushi meal...

salmon ! dione's fav! i like to eat too.. and dip with wasabi sauce... but its a turn off for Yugui, she doesnt know how to appreciate...

actually i found myself with a liking towards jap sushi food.. hmmm...friends if u wanna go eat sushi can jio me along! =D

23 April 07: cooked fried rice today! woot! i think in terms of colors ... it looks fine, not bad.... but for taste.. it tasted bit too dry... hmm... first attempt at cooking! have never fried any rice before!

EXAMS are declared over!! so elated that the most hated SMU mods are cleared, finance paper taken today and Financial Accounting which was taken last sem. I admit i wasn't cut for finance stuffs. If these 2 mods weren't required to clear as compulsory under my Marketing 2nd major, i wouldnt have even tot of taking them!

chanced upon a scarf today when i walked past, took a look, grabbed it and paid.
heee... bought at $30 from Mango. Woot~ 1 piece but can wear it in 5 different ways!
so in breakdown value
$30 / 5 = $6 per style
so in a consumer's point of view, is it worth buying?

it's lipton tea time!
lipton has always been my studying companion~
needed lipton to perk me up.. just had 1 cup! i wan another~

tea has its effect of refreshing the mind, it will make u feel calm . scientific studies shown that when people drink tea throughout the day, their mood and mental performance remain at a constant high level.

do you know tea has caffaine? even tea tat claimed as Decaffeinated Tea are not completely caffeine-free. i once heard from a health product seminar talk, that tea actually has more caffaine then coffee! hmmm not to sure to what extend, whether is it referring only to certain types of tea.

but surely Caffeine does bring us Alertness effects:

improved alertness and performance on a variety of tasks at night
improved attention, psychomotor, memory test results after strenuous exercise
Increases in cognitive performance
significantly increase wakefulness, vigor, energy, feeling “full of go” and feeling efficient

tried to find out if tea really has more caffaine, performed some google. some sites mentioned tat indeed tea possess more. But under www.lipton.com it claims that tea has less caffaine than coffee and pple tend to sleep more easily, enjoy more quality sleep than coffee drinkers. quite skeptical about it, since its from lipton tea website im sure they as advertisers tried to describe things in such a manner that will promote their own product.
but too lazy to go search for more support and reach any conclusion...

anyway there are thus far only 3 types of teas that i love to drink...
1) canned pokka /heaven earth green tea
2) lipton hot tea
3) Ice tea... i like KFC's ice tea... hmmm seasons ice tea is overly sweet, not for me if i have choice to choose...

lipton does have a wide range of flavoured teas but i dun find it tasty. it just doesnt suit my tastebud. Even canned green tea.. they have green tea with white chrysanthemum etc....
but i think the unflavoured ones are still the best.

shared a bar of hershey's milk chocolate with my sis. this mysterious choco bar was found hidden in between my stack of finance notes... some magician did it! *wink

well im not good enough to go in depth talkin about chocolates... i onli know how to eat! all kinds! but preferably not those nutty ones (M&M peanuts is an exception) and not those with caramel i.e. snickers bar.

woot free cone day! hmmm my fridge now stores 2 tubs of B&J icecream "waving" at me... kind of tempted..my fav is "chocolate chips cookie dough"! My first taste of B&J's ice-cream was during my poly days, all thanks to my Citibank supervisor. He bought me a tub as he drove by a petrol station when he gave me a ride home. i dun like ice-cream that is too chocolatey thou i love chocolates, prefer those choco chips kind... vanilla with bit of chocolate.. those chocolatey color all over, a bit turn off for me...

will i be able to fight and win the battle against the icecream for tonite?? can i resist the temptation? we shall see.... back to studying finance....

There we spent 2 full weeks together, mingling with the beneficiaries... and remember Arkbar? we did a communicative book for him.

time flies as always, now we have been into our last sem for our 3rd year studies. both of us are having our last paper on this sat. and Yipee...summer holidays are here once again!!!! and we are going to CLEAR OUR FYP!!!

recalling back to the past... i did all my IS modules and projects with her! woot~ hahhaha how many was that? other den qilin, i guessed she is the next whom i did numerous projects with. All thanks to her, we got hooked up doing projects with robin, dione and phelicia .... Our dear great buddies. My life in SMU wouldnt be complete without all of you. (pls spend efforts to keep the ties warm and hot! hahaha dun forget about me when each of you goes ya separate ways to exchange...)

o yah and i once did a blog posting on her in my very first set up blog account, which i did not conscientiously add any postings to. And i doubt she knows about it. that post was an

episode on friendship - A priceless gift.
Hmm... let me pen down my 1st day of Term3B(Intercultural Comms by Ong Siow Heng) while waiting for my file conversion to be done. Kind of sleepy, trying to keep myself awake for now.

Had a hard time getting to sleep the night before. Was is due to excitement of "FIRST DAY OF SCH"??? Remembering those pri school days whereby i head off to sch with new stationery, polished white bata shoes. Those were the days...I set my alarm at 6:30am. But as usual i din manage to wake on my own. Thankfully to this wonderful friend of mine who took the initiative and tots to give me a morning call at 6:45am. Blbalbalbaa.... i got down the bed, went to bathroom ... bathe .. changed.. out of hsu... and to the NEW CITY CAMPUS!

When i reached the seminar room, my dear friend has booked a seat for me, and so sweet of her to buy me breakfast which include yummy-licious sandwich + slurping good cup of tea. Not only just that, she even took me an extra copy of TODAY newspaper for me. So touched by her actions... wad can i say? I'm fortunate to have such a nice friend like her. One whom i knew since yr 1, someone whom i have always been doing my ISM projects with. Yugui knows that im such a blur sotong especially in the mrg, has done all these and touched me truly deeply ....

today is her 22nd birthday!!!!!!! i remember last yr she had her 21st birthday celebration at Aloha! and she had her preparations woes and i heard complaints from her.. but im sure she enjoyed the chalet stay and seeing so many of her friends storming in with presents and well wishes for her, she certainly had a great time. A nice 21st birthday that she will remember.... and o yah! MS POH did u wear the dress we bought for u???!!!!!! and wad about that G-STRING!!!! where did u dump to! all i saw u wearing was only the adidas jacket!.. hahaha all her presents were blueish(her fav color).

opps i made a mistake. there are 28 capsules to be installed on the ferris wheel. EACH can take up to 35 people! initially i tot was total 35 for the whole ride and not 28*35! hmmm as duke said the ride wont be lomantic le, so many people squeezing into one capsule~

there's a cafe over at the national museum which seems pretty cosy, peaceful and nice and price looks affordable. go try it out and tell me!

my sons.... how fortunate am i to have kids of these age?

took photo of the ferris wheel back in march when out for 'Heart Walk' at Marina South. Was dragged into this family walk by my dearest sons??? My cousin's teacher asked "which is your son?" i bet i really look so old and haggard at my age now...

It was onli 5/8 completed in early march and now it's FULLY done up. This construction work started back in last year Sep. So in math it took about 7 months. Ferris wheel will start operation next year, with capacity of max 35 each ride. Will there be a long queue??? i wonder when the donut factory queue gonna stop! A visit to Vivo last fri, the donut queue there was also considerably LONG!

the sweetest donut ever~ thanks to YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for queuing there from 1130am till almost going 3pm. cant' imagine if i queue there by myself all alone for so many hrs. i joined the queue at about 2. So in maths, i queued less than an hr to get 2 dozens full of donuts home ~ hahahhaa =P
the kids love it.. they liked the spicy cheese especially (2nd row, rightmost), but my tastebud differs from theirs.

A story to tell

It was an isolated area until...

she was left there with no one else around

she was bored until someone came along and adventure begins!

they tried to walked out of Enchanted Grove but to their horror, they met...

This old man was sleeping under a tree one day but woke up to realise that he was trapped under the barks and trunks of this tree. He was waving incessantly and howling for help. It sent the errie chill up their spine and they just turned and ran away...

Next they chanced upon a lorry, hopped onto it and hoping to find a way out of the island.

they travelled and when they look up the sky, they saw a...

they followed the direction of where the fairy flied to...
and yes they did finally got out of the island

my aunt&family will be returning back from their holidays trip from Bangkok later this afternoon. so nice of her to have treated me to a stay in 'chalet' for 5 days 5 nights.. hahhaa.... got to help feed their fishes.. and yesh they are well taken of.. but this mrg my sister purposely woke up at 6:45am jus to feed 1 arowana. WHY? all becoz she missed last evenings' feeding time, and skies has turned dark... the arowana couldnt see the worms that she is feeding.. end up the other koi fishes in the same pond snatched arowana's food away. she tried using a torchlight, but still arowana couldnt see the worms! maybe he need a pair of contact lens!! and there i scare her saying that poor fish will die of hunger since it last ate at 2pm and got to wait till 7am the next day, tats 17 hrs apart! hahahah for serious.. she woke up early this mrg jus to feed him....

i did something today that i never dare to do! that is to take in the laundry clothes hanging on the poles outside. Always have this phobia worrying that it be heavy and i might dropped the pole from 8th level, tat will be a disaster. but i drop a clothes peg instead, seeing it dropped to the ground floor. .... raining heavily now

Market Researchers of Focus@ be having their presentation in the afternoon for their client - Polished Divas.

My cousin is back from his 1 week exchange programme in Beijing. Still rememeber the 1 hr long distance call, he called back sharing stories about who he met, the cute Cedar girl that he has a liking to and how he impressed the class with his art drawings and shading. The previous time he went HK for his Choir, he came back saying that he liked this australian girl that he met. i wonder the next time who would it be.

pics that he have taken. Hmmm he always like to take pics of scenaries and others but just not himself. Hopefully this time round when i view his photos, i'll be able to catch more of his faces. This time round is definitely better, for the previous HK trip he came back with none of his face on any pics.

He said he bought me a Beijing 2008 pen!! and hey! that reminds me of my Beijing Olympic 2008 Architecture Analysis Project!!!!

And he is leaving for Bangkok this weekend, shall wait and see again .... what other stuffs he will get for me over there... *hint... remember to buy hor!

Miss Cutie Pie performed "xiao ke dou zao ma ma" at her Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony today. Outshines the rest with her lively, energetic dance. This super hyper young girl loves to pose in front of the camera, my fav young little model. Watching the groups of children performing, seeing the batch of graduating kids in their graduation robe, some of them fumbled, some tripped, some bow so low and dropped their graduation hats. The young ones never fail to bring joy & laughter to others through their amusing actions... that reminds me of the clumsy me when i'm at their age...

Had some fun back at home with my cousins... making the small cups of chocolate coated cornflakes with dash of colourful deco balls on top.. Yummy .. we all liked it but i only managed to grabbed 2 of them, rest were all snatched up.
